A B. Wallace custom home build offers either the option to use one of our existing home designs OR to work with our team on a more unique design. While using one of our designs would be more cost effective, we do all home designs in house so we are happy to work with you on a design.
There are many factors that will affect your overall home price. Generally speaking, we estimate that a home with mid-level finishes will cost at least $175/sf. Factors that affect overall price of custom homes include finish levels, proximity to Durham, and availability of utilities on your lot. For custom projects, we do require a minimum of 2200 sf.
When building a custom home, unlike a home in one of our communities, you will get a construction perm loan prior to construction. Prior to providing any pricing estimates to you, we will require a pre-approval letter for a construction perm loan.
