     About five years ago, I set out to build new homes that I would love and would be proud to put my name on. The idea was to create homes – not houses – that felt warm, comfortable and personal. I believed you could have the luxuries and conveniences we all associate with well appointed homes without having thousands of square feet. Little did I know, the types of homes I wanted to build would soon come to be commonly known as “Jewel Box Homes” .

     To that end, I began to build what I think is the ultimate in Jewel Box style: craftsman style homes that were less than 2300 square feet. I have since grown into building various sizes, styles and types of homes, but I remain committed to combining all the charm and quality of those historic craftsman homes with the modern conveniences today’s buyers deserve.
